our club
We are the Cornell University chapter of a student-driven, non-profit network of 55 university chapters, committed to social justice and global health. We work together in solidarity and partnership in the fight against social injustices and global health inequities. We are partnered with AMMID, a grassroots organization in Guatemala, to help improve the health and strengthen the local Mayan community.

Our
partnership
As of 2014, GlobeMed at Cornell University has been partnered with AMMID, The Association Maya-Mam to Promote Research and Development. AMMID addresses the poverty and gender inequality in Comitancillo, Guatemala by providing alternative solutions that will create a self-sustaining community.
